Materials laboratory needed for preparation and evaluation of the resulting properties of an elastomer (styrene + isoprene) when mixed with some ceramic fillers (BaTiO3 and others) including measuring the resulting dielectric constant, dielectric breakdown voltage, and elasticity modulus. Ideally you can help in preparing homogenous mixtures and samples.
Company interested in acquiring an analytical laboratory in Saudi Arabia for the testing for quality assurance, testing, inspection, and certification of Agrochemicals & Pesticides, Basic & Industrial Chemicals, Dyes & Detergents, Lubricants & Greases, Nano materials, Petrochemicals, Polymers & Plastic , Food, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Beauty & Personal Care Products
LONG-TERM TESTING Bioscience company needs bioanalytical laboratory for raw material, in-process, and final product MAT or cell-based endotoxins testing with assays that are not based on the LAL or rProtein C methods for endotoxin detection. The liquid formulation of both proteins and polymers. We would need to have endotoxin testing performed with a MAT or cell-based assay, since we already know that protein interferes with the LAL and rProteinC methods.
ISO 17025 certified analytical chemistry laboratory needed for OECD testing of phenol blocked polyisocyanate to the following OECD Guidelines for Chemicals:
OECD 107 - Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water): Shake Flask Method
OECD 117 - Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water), HPLC Method
OECD 123 - Partition Coefficient (1-Octanol/Water): Slow-Stirring Method
Materials laboratory needed for integrity / life expectancy testing of PVDF and Tedlar used in Supported Structure industry and Fabric Structure industry. The textiles are used in products that have a life expectancy of 20 years and need weathering verification over time that the textiles hold up to the elements like sun, rain, etc.
Materials laboratory needed for ASTM Thermal Stiffness property testing as per ASTM D 1043 Stiffness Properties of Plastics as a Function of Temperature by Means of a Torsion Test of 3 rubber parts. The property measured by this test is the apparent modulus of rigidity, G, sometimes called the apparent shear modulus of elasticity. It is important to note that this property is not the same as the modulus of elasticity, E, measured in tension, flexure, or compression.
Materials laboratory needed for determination of optical transmission characteristics of red plastic lens resin used in laser receiver products. The optical transmission characteristics are important for this part so that it can filter sunlight while passing near IR laser wavelengths.
The study involves determination of the total transmissibility vs. wavelength for various red plastic lens samples. The wavelength range of interest is roughly 250-1250 nanometers (in 1 nm increments) at a minimum. A report shall be provided that includes the following at a minimum, test lab name, test date, test equipment used, test specimen condition, and graphical results of the optical transmission range, minimally including 250-1250 nm in 1 nm increments, for each sample
LONG-TERM TESTING Plastics laboratory needed for acetaldehyde and viscosity testing of PET to 2 ASTM standards:
for acetaldehyde according ASTM F2013-10 Determination of Residual Acetaldehyde in Polyethylene Terephthalate Bottle Polymer Using an Automated Static Head-Space Sampling Device and a Capillary Gas Chromatography with a Flame Ionization Detector and
IV according ASTM 4603-96, Determining Inherent Viscosity of Poly(EthyleneTerephthalate) (PET) by Glass Capillary Viscometer
Materials laboratory needed for polymer testing by gel permeation chromatography / size exclusive chromatography on polymer molecules with MW ranging from 100 to 100k via Phenomenex GPC/SEC column or similar column capable of separating polymers of ranged MW. Semi-quantitive results required.
