On-Site Viscosity Testing of Finished Adhesives and Polymers

Project Description

South Africa Polymer Laboratory needed for on-site viscosity testing of water based adhesives and polymers finished products . We currently test viscosity using a Brookfield Viscometer at 25 degrees with a speed of 20 [spindle use depending on thickness]. I will require a sample to be taken from the warehouse and then a viscosity test to be complete.

There are other testing that can be done such as Inspection of drum labels and packaging, Inspection of phasing or lumps, Inspection of sample appearance and smell, checking for grit or specs, including a film test on a glass plate, checking structures of bottom pastes. However, these tests are not as important as the viscosity test.

Remember, our product is the final product and not a raw material.
