USDA Certified Agriculture Laboratory needed to biological control study to analyze several jars of raw honey from several honey producers to determine the percentage of Chinese tallow pollen in the samples relative to all other types of pollen in the samples. Analysis of the pollen count in raw honey due to the contribution of tallow in these samples would need to be conducted fairly soon (August 1) in order to appear as one piece of information in an upcoming USDA biological control decision process.
Analytical Chemistry Laboratory needed for quantitative analysis of samples of cold pressed grapefruit peel oil (GFP Oil) (think orange oil) for ppm amounts of thiabendazole (TBZ)? The oil needs to contain 68 ppm TBZ and it needs to be less than 15 ppm. Thus the range is TBZ is 5 to 100 ppm. We plan to vacuum distill the product to remove the excess TBZ in the distillation bottoms.
Ultimately, the only certified method needed is to confirm TBZ is less than 15 ppm in the final product. During the process development phase, we will need determinations of PPM of TBZ in distillation samples. Range is between 5 ppm and 100 ppm.

We would like it to be tested for quantitative milk fat and total fat content. In other words, we would like to know how much is the milk fat out of the total fat.
First, we have an large, exceedingly water-insoluble, 400 kd carbohydrate that first needs to be dissolved in superheated water. (We have preliminary data indicating 200 degrees C is more than sufficient.) Second, while still dissolved (in superheated water) it needs to be ftransferred to and fragmented by any appropriate high energy method (e.g., French pressure cell press, sonication, high-temp cracking) while maintaining the superheated temps to ensure it remains in solution. With high temp and high energy fragmentation, we're hoping to achieve fragments with a normal distribution around 20 to 30 kd, sufficient for the fragments to be cool (tepid) water-soluble. If 20 to 30 kd is not small enough, then fragment further.

Company needs Food Analytical Chemistry Laboratory for deformulation and formulation of chili oil including identification of the oils and chilis which is thought to be Scotch Bonnet or Habanero chili, but the exact strain could be the key factor. Or it is possible it is multiple varieties of chilis. Formulation and processing done to the chili would then be needed.. We suspect it is cooked in the oil, then strained. Microbiology laboratory needed for sanitation and cleaning efficacy testing for e. coli and other bacteria on collection of wine to ensure it is safe for human consumption after sanitation and cleaning. The collection was stored in cellar that were recently submerged in storm water that likely had sewage and other harmful bacteria in it.
