Contract Laboratory has received the following Optics Laboratory Test Requests which need to be fulfilled! These Laboratory Test Requests are received from a variety of sources ranging from start-up companies to large, multinational Fortune 500 corporations, international organizations, well-respected universities and government agencies that are actively seeking Independent, Third-Party Optics Laboratories to perform their Optics Testing, Analysis, Assays, Product Development, Scientific Research Experiments, Inspections, Certifications, and Engineering Projects. If you are a Optics laboratory that would like more information on these Optics projects, please visit our registration page or call toll us free 1-855-377-6821.
Medical device laboratory needed for ISO testing of blue light and UV ray blocking optical lenses including ISO 8980-3, Ophthalmic Optics - Uncut Finished Spectacle Lenses - Part 3 Transmittance Specification and Test Methods.
ISO 14889, Ophthalmic Optics - Spectacle Lenses - Fundamental Requirements for Uncut Finished Lenses.
Materials laboratory needed for determination of optical transmission characteristics of red plastic lens resin used in laser receiver products. The optical transmission characteristics are important for this part so that it can filter sunlight while passing near IR laser wavelengths.
The study involves determination of the total transmissibility vs. wavelength for various red plastic lens samples. The wavelength range of interest is roughly 250-1250 nanometers (in 1 nm increments) at a minimum. A report shall be provided that includes the following at a minimum, test lab name, test date, test equipment used, test specimen condition, and graphical results of the optical transmission range, minimally including 250-1250 nm in 1 nm increments, for each sample
Electrical laboratory needed for SAE compliance testing of optical warning devices used on authorized emergency, maintenance, and service vehicles to SAE J845 Class 1 . Recommended practice providing design guidelines, test procedures, and performance requirements for 360 degree optical warning devices and selective coverage defined as any light that provides greater coverage then 40 degrees left-to-right but less than 360 degrees. Intended for authorized emergency, maintenance and service vehicles. Lighting tested from 5 degrees upward to 5 degrees downward.
Large company needs Optical Properties of 1 cm lenses tested for the following: Transmittance, Comatic Aberration, Veiling Glare Index, Lens Flare, Ghost, Halo (ISO 9358-1994), Lateral Chromatic Aberration, Longitudinal Chromatic Aberration and Reflection Ratio. Vibration and mechanical shock testing plus abrasion and high pressure water spray testing.
Laboratory needed that is capable of testing a 6 ft fluorescent tube from UV through the visible spectrum. The spectral analysis is preferred to be between 100 nm - 700 nm, but 280 nm - 400 nm is acceptable. The integrating sphere should be able to contain a 6 ft tube. Before we send in the product, we would like a quote.
Texas Laboratory needed for ISO Comparative testing for contact lens solutions to ISO 11981 2nd ed 2009 Ophthalmic optics -- Contact lenses and contact lens care products -- Determination of physical compatibility of contact lens care products with contact lenses
ISO 11986 2nd Ed 2010 Ophthalmic optics -- Contact lenses and contact lens care products -- Guidelines for determination of preservation uptake and release
Physical Optical Laboratory needed for transmittance measurements on an optical assembly. The assembly is 7" in diameter and 1" thick, with a clear aperture of 6", but we do not need to measure the entire aperture; spot testing is adequate. We are primarily interested in the region from 280 to 400 nm, but would like to test from 250 to 800+ nm.
USA Materials Laboratory needed for ASTM polycarbonate testing to ASTM G153 test cycle 1
environmental weathering testing:
15 flat samples (2x2 inch)
15 curved samples (2x2 inch)
All samples are directional
requesting 500hr and/or 1000hr

USA Materials Laboratory required for Optical Testing. I work for a military communications equipment manufacturer and we are designing a new product that has a custom display window. We are concerned about the sunlight readability of said display through the window and are looking for someone to do some optical testing (reflection and transmission). We have very limited experience in this field so we are looking for someone with expertiese to assist in this process.
GMP Compliant lab to perform the following: Full Monograph Testing (individual and total) for the following items:·,Magnesium Stearate·,Maltodextin·,Polyethylene Glycol·,Silicon Dioxide,·Stearic Acid·,Croscarmellose Sodium,,Dibasic Calcium Phosphate·,Lactose Monohydrate·, Specific Rotation for Ephedrine HCl·,Diphenhydramine HCl Organic Nitrogenous Bases for a pharmaceutical company
assess the androgenic activity, in a quantitative fashion, of a single steriod with the trivial name tetrahydrogestrinone(THG) in a pilot scale study. Either an aquatic organism model or rodent model would appear adequate to provide the information desired but other potential testing types will be considered such as in-vitro receptor binding studies. The study should compare the relative androgenicity of THG to a reference compound such as testosterone
