Architectural Coating Manufacturer needs Materials Laboratory for Quality Control Evaluation. Need to come to plant and give us a complete feedback of the situation of the plant. (Qc). We are manufacturer of architectural coatings (latex based). Physical Laboratory needed for Microscopy/Image Analysis-Preliminary work established that a ZnSe ATR crystal can "see" through all three coatings we apply into the paper substrate. These coatings all cure or dry to fixed films, so samples of varying thickness can be prepared which will not change over time. We want to correlate the ratios between selected substrate and coating FTIR absorptions with the cured coating thicknesses to generate a process monitoring and QA inspection tool. We will provide coated samples marked where FTIR-ATR measurements were made and require cross-sectional imaging in those marked areas to measure coating thickness.

India Mechanical Laboratory needed to perform thermal shock experiment on plasma sprayed Zirconia- ceria oxide powder coatings on SUS 304 and Mild Steel.The heating steady state temperature is 1100 ⁰C in 4 minutes and Cooling to 200⁰C in 6 minutes. For every 20 cycles the surface has to be viewed by SEM till the surface starts to peel. 2 samples ( 1 for MS and 1 for SUS 404)

Materials laboratory needed for Reflectance Testing of cured coatings of glossy black shall be tested for reflectance per the following requirements:
Specular reflectance (nominal incidence): 5.0% maximum
Diffuse reflectance (total hemispherical reflectance minus the specular component): 0.8% maximum
The sample reflectance shall be measured using a large sphere color eye (kolimorgan) or equivalent and a reference sample of known spectral specular and diffuse reflectance over the range 0.4 to 1.1 microns.
