Medical Device laboratory needed for surgery simulation and functional testing of sterile surgical packs after sterilization including on:
- aged samples (2 years past used by date) for: appearance (noting any signs of discolouration)
- functionality (whether the components within the pack show no adverse affect on the brittleness of the plastics, bungs breaking up in syringes etc).
LONG-TERM TESTING Materials laboratories needed for proficiency testing for inter-laboratory comparisons for method validation (and) accreditation of the following four ISO standards:
ISO 4589-2:2017, Plastics -- Determination of burning behaviour by oxygen index, ISO 4589-3:2017, EN 13758-1:2001+A1:2006 (part 1), EN 13758-2:2003+A1:2006 (part 2),
ISO 105-J05 (part 1, part 2, part 3), Textiles -- Tests for colour fastness -- Part J05: Method for the instrumental assessment of the colour inconstancy of a specimen with change in illuminant (CMCCON02)
ISO 3795:2001, Road vehicles, and tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry -- Determination of burning behaviour of interior materials

Test Request 17-00850
Automotive laboratory needed for several tests on plastics oil pan auto parts including oil pan assembly fatigue resistance (vibration test), M8 bushing pull out test, stone impact test, 21 day heat age test, pressure burst test, thermal cycle sealability - 100 cycle leakage test, tightness test, CCM testing, oil pan material check, final assembly check, dimensional check, drain plug torque to failure test, and drain plug gasket repeated installation
Test Request 17-00849
Materials laboratory needed for ASTM Thermal Stiffness property testing as per ASTM D 1043 Stiffness Properties of Plastics as a Function of Temperature by Means of a Torsion Test of 3 rubber parts. The property measured by this test is the apparent modulus of rigidity, G, sometimes called the apparent shear modulus of elasticity. It is important to note that this property is not the same as the modulus of elasticity, E, measured in tension, flexure, or compression.
Test Request 17-00847
Materials laboratory needed for determination of optical transmission characteristics of red plastic lens resin used in laser receiver products. The optical transmission characteristics are important for this part so that it can filter sunlight while passing near IR laser wavelengths.
The study involves determination of the total transmissibility vs. wavelength for various red plastic lens samples. The wavelength range of interest is roughly 250-1250 nanometers (in 1 nm increments) at a minimum. A report shall be provided that includes the following at a minimum, test lab name, test date, test equipment used, test specimen condition, and graphical results of the optical transmission range, minimally including 250-1250 nm in 1 nm increments, for each sample
