Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry Laboratory needed for conducting studies on the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients APIs in an oil in water emulsion. We need to arrive at following conclusions by morphological/physical/chemical testing etc
1. Whether APIs are dispersed or solubilized (both APIs).
2. Phase in which each API is present (dispersed phase of emulsion or continuous phase of emulsion)
3. Particle size of API (for dispersed API). Separate PSD for each API if both are dispersed.
4. Globule size of emulsion.

Analytical Chemistry Laboratory needed for chemical analysis of
1) Sodium Silicate
2) Fumaric acid
3) Tartaric Acid
4) Calcium hydroxide
5) Distillates (petroleum), solvent-dewaxed heavy paraffinic
8) Calcium Magnesium oxide
The analysis should identify and quantify the main ingredient and the main impurities (% w/w concentration of the sample) and should be followed by spectral data and detailed descriptions of the analytical methods.

Cosmetics analytical chemistry laboratory needed for investigation to identify and determine the cause of formulation incompatibility of finished product with a tendency to precipitate. In order to investigate where the formulation incompatibility is arising from it would assist to have an identification on the precipitate.I suspect that the precipitate is inorganic as it would not dissolve in Methanol, Propanol, Hexane and Chloroform.
LONG-TERM TESTING Analytical Chemistry Laboratory needed for accelerated aging study with testing monthly for a year.
Tests needed (per sample, per testing interval):
1. pH by electrode (single replicate)
2. Total active chlorine by electrode (duplicate)
3. Chloride ion by ion chromatography (duplicate)
Accelerated aging for two solutions: Unbufferrd HOCl solution, approx. 500 ppm and
#2. Buffered HOCl solution, approx. 500 ppm
50-60oC, dark (no pressure specified)
Once every 4 weeks for 1 year on a schedule I establish and send to you (based on when my client sends the samples)
My client will send 1 L of each solution, divided up into two 500 mL amber bottles (exact sizes still not provided). Both should be stored in the aging chambers, but only one should be sampled when performing tests (the other is back-up).
You will send the data to me and address questions/issues to me, but my client will be responsible for payment. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please send detailed quote with response.

FDA registered and cGMP compliant analytical chemistry laboratory needed for latex and/or DEHP (Di Ethyl Hydroxy Phthalate) testing on rubber closures (stoppers) or syringe pistons used for injectable pharmaceuticals. We are not currently looking for a full extractable/leachable study, just the ability to test for the specific items.

Large chemical company needed analytical chemistry laboratory for identification of sulfur species in liquid samples. Analysis of our sample by XRF shows the presence of sulfur but our GC instruments don't detect any sulfur. We use a GC equipped with a PFPD and a non-polar capillary column. We have also used a GC with FPD and non-polar capillary column. We suspect the sulfur that is present is non-detectable by GC (or at least not by our system).
