URGENT Microbiology Confirmatory Study - 2500 samples
Project Description
URGENT Microbiology Reference laboratory needed to perform confirmatory testing (viral culture and Alere i) on approximately 2700 samples. Our target is 120 Flu A positives and 120 Flu B positives by viral culture. In addition to testing, the lab will also need to supply all sites (14) with nasal swabs, VTM, specimen labels, refrigerated shipping containers, and a lab manual. Samples will be shipped daily to the lab and weekend testing (Saturdays) is expected. We are already initiating sites so we need a lab that can not only commit to doing all that is required in terms of testing and supplies, but also one that can get up and running quickly.
