Plastic Part ASTM Fatigue Testing

Project Description

Materials Laboratory needed for ASTM fatigue testing using a 3 point bending test for plastic par to ASTM D7774t. Details are as follow :

Fatigue Test
o Test Method - Flexural 3 Point Fatigue - ASTM D7774
o Stress and strain controlled
o No of cycles - 20000 or until failure
o Thickness and width of specimen. - 3.2mm and 12.7mm
o At least 3 specimens to be tested

Alternating stress vs cycles from stress life test and strain amplitude vs reversals to failure (plastic strain life, elastic strain life and total strain life) - Cyclic stress strain curve, strength coefficient, strength exponent, ductlity coefficient, ductility exponent, cyclic strength coefficient, cyclic strain hardening exponent from strain life test for my material model in FEA software.
