Industrial Laboratory familiar with ASTM and ISO standards for measuring hydrocarbon samples needed for gas analysis to the API 617 datasheet which offers the standard composition format against which all centrifugal OEMs: As a reference, the template for the Gas Fuel Suitability tool includes the API standard list of components that the lab should measure for as applicable: We would generally prefer the lab report constituents in Mol% (as in API datasheet), along with their estimation of relative density (SG), average MW, HHV, and the sampled pressure and temperature. If the sample is raw/production gas, it would be ideal if the lab could measure and report wet and dry analyses. Dry gas analysis results can occasionally be misleading as they are not taking into account the typical fraction of water in the flow stream.
