MULTIPLE TESTING

We need mechanical tests per the ASTM A370-24 (Standard Test Methods and Definitions for Mechanical Testing of Steel Products) on specimens manufactured from finished sucker rods produced according to API Specification 11B, 28th Edition. Looking for a Kazakhstan ISO certified lab.

Specimen parameters:

- Test specimen from sucker rods (4 pcs): diameters of 19 mm and 22 mm, working length – 254 mm.
Each specimen must be marked with center punch marks spaced at 12.7 mm intervals over the 254 mm length. During testing, the grips of the testing machine must engage the specimen just outside the marked gauge length.

We kindly request you to provide copies of the following laboratory documentation:

- A valid ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation certificate and the scope of accreditation

- Calibration certificates for the tensile testing machine, extensometer (meeting Class B-2 per ASTM E83-23, “Standard Practice for Verification and Classification of Extensometer Systems”), and all other measurement instruments used during testing.

According to the requirements of API Specification 11B (28th Edition), each mechanical test report must include the following information:

- Description of the specimen

- Specimen type and dimensions

- Identification code (i.e., heat number)

- Date of testing

- Batch identification (determined by heat treatment date/time)

- Yield strength (reported either as minimum or 0.2% offset) and method used

- Ultimate tensile strength

- Elongation

- Reduction of area (in %).
