Composite Panel Compression and Load Comparison Tessting
Project Description
MULTIPLE PRODUCTS
Mechanical Laboratory needed for Compression and Load Comparison Testing on two different material types making a plastic liner on the surface of a composite panel.
The composite panel is supported by an underlying structure. I currently do not have the technical datasheets for either material. I would like to have load testing conducted to determine the load for material failure to occur. The impacting material types can vary from metal to increasing durometer of rubber and plastic types of loads. Emphasis on testing to measure failure limit of a concentrated load force of 1 - 3 square inches on the panel-liner combination. Current data we have suggests that the maximum concentrated load of the composite panel is 10lb/in2, we are looking to find a solution to allow for a minimum concentrated load of 75 lb./in2.
