Polyurethane Resins Property Changes

Project Description

USA Polymer Laboratory needed for property changes between 2 types of Polyurethane resins.We use Polyurethane (PU) boots or parts to create the covers that protect the equipment and the products used by our machines. The PU parts are then covered in a paint like coating to enhance some properties, like UV and chemical resistance. To grow with the changes in technology, we have a need to upgrade our processes and we have found alternative ways of producing these PU boots with different resins. Because these products are in a variety of harsh environments and are subjected to different chemical, we need to test the current materials as a base line and evaluate the properties of the new material. Some characteristics we know to include are UV, Ozone, chemical resistances, tensile, fatigue, tear resistance for starters. Is this something your company can provide? I have sample parts of the old and new materials and can provide an additional set that are coated.
