Large corporation needs Materials Laboratory for Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) testing of adhesive bond strength on Transportation Safety Recessed Pavement Marker

Adhesive Bond Strength - Option 1 Epoxy. 250 psi minimum average tensile bond strength of five specimens according to the following test:
 Bond a 1.5-inch diameter steel test plug with sandblasted surface to the center of the marker bottom using an epoxy meeting AASHTO M237.
 After 48 hours curing time at 74° F ± 4° F, tensile load the test plugs at a load rate of 4850 pounds/minute until failure.
Adhesive Bond Strength - Option 2 Flexible Bituminous Adhesive. 170 psi minimum individual tensile bond strength of five specimens according to the following test:
2 Section 00855.00
 ODOT TM 432-05 amended as follows. Bond a 1.5-inch diameter steel test plug with sandblasted surface to the center of the marker bottom using a Flexible Bituminous Adhesive from the ODOT Qualified Products List.
