Project Description

European lab with BSL2 certification needed to test for:
* isolation of a bacterial clone
* selection interaction process using clients solid media and microscopic observation, selection by color and shape
* demonstration of the stability of the selected clone
* comparative demonstrative fermentation tests with the original strain and with the isolated clone, Fermentor scale: 5-40L
* ability to manipulate BSL2-microorganisms
* established analytical tools, notably HPLC
* DNA-genotyping
* ability to conduct some downstream purification as a possible follow up would be a plus
