Large Company has project that is focused on characterizing our raw materials for both physical and chemical characteristics in an attempt to improve front end quality. Raw materials consist of polymers, organic and inorganic chemicals. In short, the target of the project is to characterize up to 6 lots of each raw material. We are looking for similarities or differences in purity and quality. Each chemical has been reviewed and a specific set of analysis assigned to determine contaminants or by-products that may affect final product quality. Over the last few years we have been doing the analysis in-house however recent reductions in timelines have challenged our resources so its been decided to explore outsourcing. The techniques we need support with are NMR, ICP, LC-MS, GC-MS, and GPC.
