Rectifer Regulator Load
Project Description
Performance Laboratory needed for testing ten 60 Amp rectifier regulators at 80% load for 2000 hours. A testing rig will need to be created to hold the rectifier regulator and a fan that will be needed to cool the rectifier regulator to make sure it does not exceed 45°C. The three phase AC signal required to run the test will need to be about 94 Vpp and 360Hz to match the stator output at 3600RPM. The output voltage from the regulator will be around 12.6 to 14.2 VDC. For data acquisition, temperature, voltage and current will need to be recorded every hour.
