Analytical Chemistry laboratory needed for testing the effectiveness of activated carbon cloth as an absorbtion agent. I want to find an analytical chemistry laboratory to desorb and analyse the trapped gasses from a textiles sample that I will supply
I need to know which chemicals and what quantities have been adsorbed. I expect to find some, or all, of the following chemicals: carbon dioxide, ozone, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide, volatile organic compounds (VOC). I am of the opinion that mass spectrometry would be the suitable method of analysis.
