Project Description

Geology laboratory needed for quartz testing of projectile point (arrowhead) of a rare type that was supposedly found on Long Island, New York. It is made of quartz. Is there a lab that can tell if the quartz is consistent with that found in the Long Island/New England area as opposed to quartz from the Virginia/Carolina region? This type of point is more commonly found in the Virginia/Carolina region.
