USA Geology Laboratory needed for Quality Control pumice testing: scratch-hardness of artificial pumice aka foam glass scouring sticks. We are interested in knowing the hardness of our products for quality control reasons. An ideal test would measure hardness via a scratch test and not an indentation test.
