ASIA / INDIA ENVIRONMENTAL MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY NEEDED FOR ENVIRONMENTAL LAND MANAGEMENT PROPOSED METHODOLOGY:
A. METHODOLOGY
study will base on screening method to identify potential land management practices, edaphic factors and pollution on microfungal diversity.


Site specificity
An extensive survey will be conducted to identify sites for soil sample collection. The sites selected will specified as agriculture, forest and urban areas.

Fungal screening
The cultures form different soil sample will be grown and fungal diversity will be grown and fungal diversity will be identified.

Taxonomic Identification
The isolates will be identified according to contemporary taxonomic concepts for each group.

Fulgalgitoxic screening
The cultures of the test fungi will be obtained from appropriate organization and the plants will be subjected to testing agained test organisms using inverted petriplate technique.

Determining of Ecological Indices
Ecological indices foe species richness and using different index method for the identification of different colony morphotype.

Taxonomic Identification
Identified according to contemporary taxonomic concepts for each group.

Molecular characterization of fungal isolates
The molecular characterization of fungal isolates will be done using PCR-RFLP method.

B. PLAN OF THE WORK:
Present investigation has been planned into following phase wise action plan. The aspect of study during different phases are detailed as below:
