Pharmaceuticals Contract Research Organization needed fortesting human recombinant interferon alpha2b used in treatment of HBV, HCV infections and some carcinomas. I have tested it locally by employing following techniques: SDS-PAGE profile. HPLC. Massspectrophotometric analysis. ELISA analysis. Bioassays (Using MDBK and HeLa cell lines against pox virus). Protein was found to be positive in these tests. Please suggest what other tests you can perform on this protein regarding determination of its quality in terms of purity, stability and biological activity. Above mentioned tests can also be performed again from your organization for quality assessment. Please also suggest cost per test and in what form and how much amount of sample/test you required for testing purpose regarding all above mentioned tests plus additional tests which you will suggest.
