Plastics laboratory needed for validation testing for XLHDPE and LLDPE material used in the manufacture of DEF tanks for Navistar. As described; 1. Soak 10 tensile bars of the LLDPE material (and XLPE material for a baseline) in room temperature DEF solution for 1000 hours (6 weeks), measure the stress strain curves of 10 samples not soaked as well as the 10 soaked samples and compare loss of strength and modulus. Compare the two grades of materials. This will give us an idea if we?re losing properties over time. Evaluate the risk. 2. Perform ASTM D1693 in DEF solution at room temperature instead of Igepal and measure rate of failure for the two materials (current grade and replacement grade). Please respond ASAP.
