Analytical and radiological laboratory needed for BP93 testing of X-ray detectable yarn made from polypropylene and loaded with a high content of barium sulphate. This yarn consists of 40 filaments, wrapped with a fine polyester thread. It can be used in the manufacture of X-ray detectable gauze swabs and sponges. Because the yarn is opaque under x-ray irradiation, when it is woven into the fabric, it can help to ensuring secure checking and avoid serious medical incidents. Please test them according to relative standards of fiber.
