I am enquiring about your capability/ capacity to carry out measurements of retained austenite on some bearing rollers.



The material is 100Cr6 or SAE 52100
With the heat treatments they have received, I would expect the retained austenite figure to be low - less than 5%. I understand an x-ray diffraction test is required to reliably measure such a level of austenite but, of course, I will listen to your advice.
I have approximately 10 samples - 13-16mm in diameter and 35 - 55mm in length


Can you let me know if you are able to perform this measurement and a cost and leadtime please.
