India Metallurgical Laboratory needed for materials testing of Miralloy / Trimetal plated Parts . The test requirement is as mentioned below. Please let me know if you know any laboratory in India



Note: We need a detail report which should also include before and after test pictures and also need to return samples back to us.





Heat Quench Test:

Plating shall be tested for adhesion per ASTM B 571, "Heat-Quench Test". The parts shall be heated to 250 + or - 10 degrees C and then quenched in room temperature water. Flaking or peeling of the deposit is evidence of unsatisfactory adhesion.



Corrosion test:

Parts will be subjected to 96 hour corrosion test per ASTM B171. After 96 hours, should still meet plating standards.



Humidity Test:

Parts will be subjected to humidity test. 85% humidity at 85 degrees C for 96 hours. After 96 hours, should still meet plating standards.
