Project Description

Biomechanical Laboratory needed for potting and torsional testing of approximately 30 rat femurs to failure. Data to be collected will include the torsion to failure and shear modulus of the material. Typical failure strengths have been recorded in the range of 0.2 to 1.0 Newton-meters at a rate of 0.5 to 6 degrees/second.
