LONG TERM
We are seeking analytical support for the characterization of spent caustic samples and would appreciate a quotation for services.
We are interested in the following analyses:
- TCOD (Total Chemical Oxygen Demand)
- SCOD (Soluble Chemical Oxygen Demand)
- TOC (Total Organic Carbon)
- TSS (Total Suspended Solids)
- TDS (Total Dissolved Solids)
- TN (Total Nitrogen)
- TKN (Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen)
- NH4-N (Ammonium Nitrogen)
- Nitrate
- Nitrite
- TPH (total petroleum hydrocarbons)
- Hydrocarbons suite
- BTEX and PAH suites
- VOCs and semi-VOCs (phenols, cresols, etc.)
- Sulphide (total, free, and polysulphides)
- Sulphur species (thiosulphate, sulphate, sulphite, mercaptans)
- Carbonate, bicarbonate
- Chloride
- Heavy metals suite.
In addition, please advise on the following:
Typical turnaround time for analysis, required sample volumes, Limits of detection (LODs) for the methods used, Whether you would prefer to provide your own sample containers.
We are initially looking to conduct 2–5 analyses (e.g. feed and treated samples), with potential for additional work to follow depending on results.
