Laboratory Test Request

Packaging Groups Determination Testing for Medical Reagents - CLP

Project Description

We need in vitro diagnostic medical device reagents with a low pH tested to assign a packaging group under Dangerous Goods transport, under corrosive substances, and the time taken to irreversibly damage skin (groups I, II, and III). Each of the substances making up our mixtures has a packaging group II or III from the supplier SDS's butt we are uncertain if the mixture has any synergistic effects that make the mixture more corrosive than the sum of its substances.

The software we use to produce an SDS indicates that any mixture with a pH <2 will fall into Packaging Group I for transport, and we do not have the expertise or accreditation to perform testing to disprove the packaging group. If you can perform this, please share the cost of the testing.
