Laboratory Test Request

Composition and Purity Testing of Shilajit

Project Description

An Analytical testing laboratory is needed for testing of Shilajit:

Spectroscopic Analysis: Techniques like Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) are used to analyze the molecular and elemental composition of Shilajit.
Chromatography: High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) help quantify the organic compounds and verify their purity.
Heavy Metal Testing: Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) or Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) are employed to detect and measure levels of heavy metals like lead, arsenic, and mercury.
Microbial Analysis: Ensuring that Shilajit is free from harmful microbial contamination such as E. coli, Salmonella, and molds.
