Project Description

Chemical Analysis Laboratory is required to determine (quantitative, NMR?) polyvinyl acetate adhesive content in paper samples.  At the same time, we also would like to determine the presence of other components like acacia gum, PVOH, or other gums, alginate, carrageenan, and similar. Typically, only one adhesive is present in one sample. The adhesive is applied as a strip on a piece of paper.
