MULTIPLE TESTING
USA Packaging Laboratory needed for packaging kraft paper testing including the following:
? Mullen Burst (psi) ? The amount of force required to burst a ply of material (10x).
? Tear MD/CD (g-f) ? The strength required to tear one ply of material in the machine & cross directions (10x).
? Tensile MD/CD (lbs-f) ? The tensile strength required to break a 1? x 6? specimen of material in the machine & cross direction (10x).
? Caliper (in) ? The thickness of a material (10x).
? Basis Weight (lbs/3000 ft2 ) ? The weight per unit area of a material, measured in pounds per 3000 square feet (5x).
? Grease Resistance (kit level) ? The repellency of paper to grease, oil, and waxes.
