Pipeline service company needs Contract Laboratory for mechanical testing on a steel wire mesh used in concrete pipe coatings (requirements stated in below section)
? Wire mesh width tolerance - ASTM A810 (Section 9 - max 5mm)
? Wire mesh size Tolerance - ASTM A810 (Table 3)
? Wire Size/Diameter Tolerance - ASTM A810 (section 9)
? Tensile strength requirement - ASTM A810 (Section 6 - Min 483 MPa)
? Zinc Coating - ASTM A810 (Section 8 - class 1 or regular coating)
? Bend Test - ASTM A1064 (Table 7)
? Yield Strength - ASTM A1064 ( Table 6)
? Reduction in area - ASTM A1064 (Table 6)
? Weld shear - ASTM A1064 (sec 8.3)
