Biofilm Efficacy Testing
Project Description
Microbiology Laboratory needed for Biofilm efficacy testing using AOW technology and either US EPA or USP Methods. This testing will be for indication purposes only - our interest is to see how AOW can penetrate a Biofilm barrier matrix and kill the underlying bacteria. Note that the US EPA has its own specific testing and validation criteria and will not accept the preliminary AOW Biofilm test results - this AOW Biofilm testing is not intended for US EPA review. We will provide our point-of-use AOW device - that will produce any volume of the AOW solution necessary for Biofilm testing. We will also provide the 24-well plate Biofilm Test Carriers and a bottle of rehydration solution (50 mL) - eliminating the need to produce the Biofilm for testing. We intend to use either the Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (Gram-Positive) - ATCC 15442 or Staphylococcus Aureus (Gram-Negative) - ATCC 6538 bacteria strains in the Biofilm Test Carriers - note that only one strain will be tested. The 24-well plate Biofilm Test Carriers will be delivered directly to your testing facility location in Japan. Our AOW development lab is located in the Tokyo area and our scientists will provide your lab with direct assistance with our AOW point-of-use device to accommodate this Biofilm efficacy testing.
