Seafood Authenticity Testing

Project Description

Contract Laboratory needed for Seafood authenticity examination of four randomized samples of commercial crab products. The purpose is to analyze for species type and origin.

Study sponsor will consider various protocols based on factors including industry standards, academic and scholarly publications, and reliability.

Methods considered for proposal will include one or more of the followi Study methods may include one or more of the following methods of analysis:
DNA barcoding analysis
Chemometrics and Vibrational Spectroscopy including infrared or Raman
Targeted and non-targeted molecular analysis
Isoelectric focusing
Mass spectrometry such as matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight (MALDI-TOF) or electrospray ionization-ion

Methods not identified here will be considered upon submission of established or accepted protocols.
