Barley Pore/Fungus Powder Dispenser Process Evaluation and Improvement
Project Description
Manufacturer needs Contract Process Laboratory for barley pore/fungus powder dispenser testing that we are having trouble with bridging and ratholing. I wanted to inquire how much it would be if we sent a sample to determine the internal friction and the friction with the wall by the Jenike method.
We are also exploring fluidized bed driers for processing our product, but I am not too familiar with the concept. Too summarize, our product originates as pores/fungus growing on barley seeds. We use labourers to manually shake these seeds with water, which suspends the pores in the water. It is then screened multiple times, and then centrifuged to a spore concentrate. These are then mixed with CaSi powder. I was wondering if I can use fluidized bed driers to skip/consolidate any of these steps, along with constraints such as variables within the drier, OR how much it would cost to test it.
