Mixed Plastics Waste Conversion to Paraffin Wax Using Microwave Technology Studies
Project Description
Contract Research Organization needed to conduct several studies of microwave technology chemical processes used convert mixed plastics waste into new products. Through these process, we are making paraffin wax that we need to purify to recover specific product cuts without degrading them. We have done extensive work on this several years ago and short path distillation worked well.We will generate lab-scale samples (wax/oil) during the next year. We are also interested in having you perform some composition analysis of the products. The objective will be to scale-up the process within a timeline of 2-3 years at which time we would generate more products for purification and we will need to scale-up the purification process as well.
Could you offer us a service for performing short path distillation on the products (at lab-scale for now)? An analytical service for the analysis of the liquid/wax products (GC or HPLC) would also be of interest to us.Thank you,
