IEEE and the IEEE Standards Association announced the publication and availability of IEEE 741?Standard Criteria for the Protection of Class 1E Power Systems and Equipment in Nuclear Power Generating Stations.

This standard provides design criteria, features, and testing requirements for power systems and equipment. Special protection features related to bus voltage monitoring design were also addressed, outlinig safe and efficient shutdown procedures.
