Overview

Noble Analytical Laboratory has over 10 years experience servicing the oil and gas industry, as well as the environmental sectors.  Its our goal to provide our clients with comprehensive reporting and as much analytical data as possible.  We realize the importance of the need for additional information used to troubleshoot problems and make important costly decisions in production, plant design, or exploration.  We offer the highest availability of the range of analytical services, including testing procedures not available by most laboratories.  The combination of the availability of services and comprehensive reporting brings us a step ahead of even our largest competitor laboratories.

Standards & Methodologies

NAL provides gas chromatography on natural gas, gasoline, LPG, and crude oil including basic C1-C6 hydrocarbon analysis or isomer characterization of 166 compounds through C12 or C60.  Low detection limits of 0.04 ppm for sulfur compounds including H2S, COS, CS2, and mercaptans can provided on any hydrocarbon matrix, with results in ppm mol, ppmv, and ppm wt; expressed as compound concentration and as total sulfur.  NAL provides either basic or comprehensive crude oil assays, including: BS&W, paraffin/asphaltene content, TAN, cloud point, pour point, etc.  Additionally, we provide water analysis on wastewater or oilfield brine for metals, pH, alkalinity, and scaling indices; as well as other water quality parameters (TPH, BOD, COD, etc.).  We also specialize in scale or solid compositional analysis by X-ray fluorescence, using our proprietary software we are able to provide computational simulated XRD mineral percents (clay, quartz, calcite, dolomite, hematite, iron sulfide, etc.).  A mineralogical profile can also be used on well cuttings/core to provide a stratigraphic lithologic profile on drilled wells.  NAL also offers a variety of other analyses including corrosion coupon characterization, particle analysis of filter media, and radiogenic isotope characterization.
