Overview
Nelson Laboratories is an independent test lab that has served the medical device, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries since 1985, offering more than 400 microbiological and analytical test services. Among our staff of more than 300 employees are 110+ degreed scientists, including 45+ registered and specialist microbiologists (NRM). Our technical staff members participate on various standards committees, including AAMI, ISO, IEST, ANSI, and ASTM. Our 62,000 sq. ft. facility includes 80 individual labs and a custom-built 3,000 sq. ft. class 100 (ISO class 5) cleanroom.

Support for various standard methods and custom protocols available. Methodologies include USP/BP/BP/EP and other national pharmacopeia, ASTM, ISO, PDA, and other methods from recognized standard bodies.
Qualifications, Certifications, Accreditations & Licenses
FDA Registered (#1721109) and third party certified to ISO 9001:2000 by BSI, Inc. (#FS 33769)and ISO 17025 by AMTAC Certification Services Ltd. (#123). The applicable tests for our ISO 17025 are: Aerobiology, Microbiology, Biocompatability, Environmental, Physical, Chemistry, and Sterilization Testing Services.
