Overview

Since its foundation in 1957, SNBL Drug Safety Research Laboratories, Japan's first preclinical contract research organization, has steadily expanded and innovated to become the world's largest non-human primate drug safety research facility.

SNBL has devised unique positioners(internationally patented) and techniques for productive data capture from reduced numbers of primates with minimized stress. SNBL has also developed disease models to investigate drug dfficacy, and is particularly proud of its arthritis model, an example of world class technology.
