Genemarkers is a contract research laboratory that specializes in genomics. Genemarkers provides gene expression and genotyping services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and personal care companies. Studies are used to support all phases of molecular research, from biomarker discovery to the development of a molecular diagnostic test.
Under the auspices of its CLIA lab, the company provides PGX (pharmacogenomics) and genetic testing - enabling physicians with information to guide personalized treatments. PGX testing is used to identify which drugs will work best for an individual patient, reducing trial and error prescribing and adverse drug responses.
