Overview

CRL is a privately held reference laboratory offering leading edge testing services in the areas of Clinical Trials, Corporate Wellness Programs, Genomics, Insurance, and Toxicology, all under one roof at our state-of-the-art facility in Lenexa, Kansas.

CRL has grown from a group of six sharing one phone in 1979 to be one of the largest single-site laboratories in the country. We currently have over 500 employees, a 192,000 plus square foot "campus" and perform tests on millions of samples annually for hundreds of clients. We process samples 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and receive samples from all over the United States and many foreign countries.

Analyzing over 80 million tests annually, CRL is one of the largest privately held laboratories operating on a national basis. In addition, CRL has had the same core management group for the past eighteen years and has operated profitably in each of those years.

Standards & Methodologies

CRL uses state of the art equipment for all testing divisions. The Molecular Diagnostics division uses platforms such as Affymetrix, Bio-Rad, ABI, Luminex, Accuri, Roche AmpliCor, Roche AmpliPrep, Agilent, and Beckman among many others. Custom assays are a specialty for CRL.
