Standards & Methodologies

Our standard procedure to de novo sequence the antibody protein consists of the following steps.

1. Digest the antibody protein into overlapping peptides with multiple enzymes.
2. Analyze the digestions with LC-MS/MS using a Thermo Orbitrap mass spectrometer.
3. Characterize overlapping peptides with de novo peptide sequencing.
4. Automated antibody sequence assembly from characterized peptides.
5. Result examination and annotation by our scientists.
