Benemed Diagnostics is a clinical laboratory (CLIA Regulated) that offers definitive drug testing services. Our two-fold approach provides physicians with the information necessary to properly and safely prescribe medications for their patients, while ensuring that the patient has peace of mind knowing that their health is protected. Not only do we provide testing methods that allow a physician to see the medications and chemical substances that are currently being metabolized by the patient in a non-invasive way, but we provide this service with minimal effort from a physician's staff and tailor our process to be non-intrusive to the patient visit.
Definitive substance testing has drastically changed how many physicians and clinics offer services to patients over the last few years. Just as one would not drive a car without a dashboard, a physician would not want to prescribe a medication to a patient without having the full spectrum of knowledge on substances the patient may be taking. Our method, which includes liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LCMS/MS), is a definitive substance testing approach. This approach includes quantitative and qualitative methods, which breaks down each individual drug class and reports the amounts that are currently in the patient's system. Currently, we have the capacity to break down up to 24 drug classes, which includes 60 different analytes.
