Rock Dessication

Project Description

Geology Laboratory needed for rock dessication testing. Small rock samples need to be desiccated, i.e. completely dried out, with an absolute minimum of moisture remaining. The preferred method is to place the samples in a glass vessel which is evacuated to a good vacuum, while the entire assembly is maintained at an elevated temperature, around 80 'C.
