Pharmaceuticals Laboratory needed for physiochemical testing done for two formulations of liquid suspension of potassium chloride (20 mEq/15 mL) medicine.
This will be an in-vitro test that shows equivalence of above two formulations according to Canada guidelines for oral aqueous solutions - page 181 of http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/drugs/dsguide/docs/dse_guide.pdf.
Essentially, we need to conduct tests marked with C in Table on page 181 of above link for oral products (i.e. pH, viscosity, specific gravity (or density), surface tension, potency).
