ASHRAE Testing of Refrigeration Oils
Project Description
MULITPLE TESTING
Third-Party Laboratory for ASHRAE Testing of refrigeration oils using sealed glass tube test per latest ASHRAE-97 test procedure (Sealed Glass Tube Method To Test The Chemical Stability Of Materials For Use Within Refrigerant Systems).
1. VG-32
2. VG-22
3. VG-10
The testing has to be carried out at 200*C for 14 days and observations after 14 days with HFO refrigerant. The test parameters are:
1. ASHRAE 97-2007/ latest ASHRAE method.
2. All test parameters should be evaluated after 14 days of exposure at 200*C.
3. Pre / Post analysis of oil for TAN, Moisture, ICP analysis .
4. Photographs of before and after exposure.
5. Percentage formation of other refrigerants after 14 days exposure at 200*C.
5. Sample preparation before testing: Please ensure that samples should have less than 35ppm moisture before charging refrigeration oil in a sealed glass tube, if during transportation/handling it is higher then remove extra moisture by vacuum/Fuller earth treatment and filtration or any other suitable
technique.
6. Separate test report for each refrigeration oil tested as per ASHRAE97.
