Laboratory Test Request

ASTM and AASHTO Coarse Aggregate Stone Testing (Internal friction, maximum density, unit weight test)

Project Description

MULTIPLE PRODUCT
MULTIPLE TESTING
Contract Laboratory needed to test coarse aggregate stone for internal friction and maximum density/unit weight test according to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) standards.

1. Consolidated, Drained Triaxial Shear testing for friction angle (using sample diameters of 4 of greater) using ASTM D 7181.
2. Maximum Density using ASTM D 4253 (Maximum Index Density and Unit Weight of Soils Using a Vibratory Table) and will need to use the larger mold size to accommodate the maximum particle size of the coarse aggregate
