Photochemical Reactivity Testing for VOC Exempt Solvent
Laboratory needed to test the photochemical reactivity of a compound to see if it can be listed as a VOC exempt solvent. There are 2 tests I am interested in:
- comparison of kOH values (reactivity rate constant for the reaction of a compound with OH radical vs reactivity rate constant for the reaction of ethane with OH radical)
- comparison of incremental reactivity (a measure of the increase in ozone formation when a material is added to a well-defined atmosphere in a specifically designed chamber).
